Webinar: Interdisciplinary Parent Representation: Bringing Hope to Families During the Pandemic and Beyond
The National Alliance for Parent Representation planned to host its Second National Interdisciplinary Parent Representation Conference on May 21-22,
2020 in Denver, Colorado. Because of the pandemic, that conference has been postponed and this webinar strives to bring information and inspiration to parent advocates across the country. We invite our child welfare colleagues to join us in learning about ways to better support families in and out courtrooms.
Please join us for a free webinar on Thursday, May 21 2:00-3:30 PM EST:
Interdisciplinary Parent Representation: Bringing Hope to Families During the Pandemic and Beyond. Speakers from across the country will highlight the effectiveness of interdisciplinary parent defense teams that include lawyers, social work professionals, and parent advocates who have lived experiences navigating the child welfare system. During the pandemic, parent defense teams across the country have responded to the crisis through individual case advocacy and collaborated to impact child welfare policy to better support families.
Please include your name and contact information when sending a message to the list as it helps list members to better respond and follow up.
